High Priests of Political Correctness

Today a high priest of political correctness draw my attention, he caught my ear.

     He was issuing warnings, spreading fear.

Fear about changes in the future, making them sound dark and sad,

     But how can he do this and neglect the presence that is already particularly bad?

These experts of saying the things people want to hear -

     Are they concerned about mankind's well-being or only their own career? 

They think democracy is in danger,

     While their equals are acting like dictators.

While controlling others in a game of blame and shame,

     Their demands for tolerance that count for everybody but not themselves seem kind of lame.

As a result, more and more are sick of playing a round of chess

     With modern day high priests of political correctness.
